60 PLUS

With increasing age, the body's muscle mass decreases. Reduced muscle strength may limit the ability to carry out everyday tasks, such as getting up from a chair, climbing a flight of stairs, or lifting an object from A to B. 

In our "60 Plus" classes, we will exclusively work with varied and functional exercises. All with the aim of making your everyday life easier! We are not built to grow old in an armchair! By combining strength exercises, balance, coordination, mobility and endurance exercises adapted to this age group, we can guarantee uplifting results. 

The class is FREE for both members and non-members. You just have to show up. Regardless of shape, colour, form and starting point: these classes are suitable for everyone - absolutely everyone! The exercises we carry out will always be adapted to you and your level. The class is led by Stefan Revang (stefan@rapida.no) - which has a long history in the industry. 

PS: Did you know that strength training is the most important form of exercise as we get older. Targeted strength training will slow down the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength. It will also strengthen the skeleton and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. 

The class lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for absolutely everyone... As long as you are over 60, mind you! 

CORE

This is a group class where we exclusively work with the muscles in the stomach/back region. A strong core is important for everyone! The core is the body's powerhouse and forms the basis of almost all exercises you do every single day. Core is therefore important as preventive training. In addition, a strong core musculature will give you a great posture!

CROSS TRAINING

A fun and intense training class with a focus on strength and fitness at stations. Tough and easy class. No requirement for coordination. Motivating and inspiring, safe training with good guidance. Suitable for those who want to train a little harder in the gym together with others and who do not want steps and combinations.

HIIT

HIIT = High Intensity Interval Training. Great combination of strength and endurance for the whole body. Training inspired by crossfit, with elements of both strength and conditioning exercises. Short intervals that allow you to get out and about, if you want!

MRL (Abdomen - buttocks - thighs)

Strength training with a focus on stomach, buttocks and thighs. The exercises can be easily adapted to your level so that you get the most out of the lesson. Suitable for those who want to have a good session for the stomach, buttocks and thighs and get a strong body. The class is great to combine with cycling classes or other indoor fitness classes.

PILATES

Qualitative strength training with stability and body control as the goal. Pilates is about building up the internal support muscles thoroughly from scratch, so that we can carry our bodies in a correct way. The training is carried out with calm and gentle, but effective exercises. Pilates is a healthy exercise that gives results in a fast and effective way. Pilates is gentle exercise and is suitable for everyone.

PILATE'S STRENGTH

Pilates strength training with a focus on core muscles, legs, back and arms. Pilates is training for strength and mobility, posture and body awareness. Pilates is preventive strength training for the whole body. Pilates is gentle exercise and is suitable for everyone.

PILATES STRENGTH BALL

Pilates ball strength class with focus on core muscles, legs, back and arms. Pilates with a large ball is a fantastic way to get in touch with the muscles. Here you get balance, body control and strength in a simple and effective way. Pilates is gentle exercise and is suitable for everyone.

SPRING/TRX

Strong with a sling - focus on whole body and stability. Through small steps, you can easily adjust the degree of difficulty and load during training. Sling is used by many as training after injury, rehabilitation and as a first introduction to strength training. This class is suitable for everyone. Sling training hits a very broad target group and can be adapted to the individual's level. 

BIKE 45

Cycling lessons with intervals and variation of resistance and pace. Good session for the heart pumping! You don't need to have experience from the bicycle seat to get benefit and mastery from this class. On a spinning bike, you have your own resistance so you can adapt according to your daily form and heart rate zone. The aim is not to drain all energy, but to learn heart rate control, increase form and fitness while it should be a fun and rewarding training session. What the classes have in common is that there is always a warm-up part, a main part and a cool-down part. The instructor must be helpful in setting up the bike correctly, so that the customer gets a good training experience.

BIKE 60

Do you have a little Tour de France rider in you? Or maybe you just want a good workout on the bike seat. This one gets the job done! Here we run high-intensity intervals of varying duration. The content varies from hour to hour, but will consist of three parts. First a warm-up part, then a main part consisting of interval moves and active rest periods. And finally downhill cycling. Are you afraid that this class will be too tough for you? Don't despair! Remember that you can ALWAYS adjust the pace and intensity as you wish!



The class lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for everyone!

INTERVAL 30

Running
is always more fun with others! Do you want a good and efficient one
training session, this running session is perfect for you! Here we work on each
our treadmill with an instructor at the front of the room who controls the intervals.
The content varies from hour to hour, but will consist of a warm-up part.
We then carry out a main part consisting of interval pulls and breaks.
Finally, we jog down. Are you afraid that this class is too tough for
you? Don't despair! Remember that you can ALWAYS adjust the pace and intensity accordingly
own wish.

 

 

The hour
lasts 30 minutes and we have a total interval time of between 10-15 minutes.

INTERVAL 45

Running is always more fun with others! If you want a good and effective training session, this running session is perfect for you! Here we work on each of our treadmills with an instructor at the front of the room who manages the intervals. The content varies from hour to hour, but will consist of a warm-up part. We then carry out a main part consisting of interval pulls and breaks. Finally, we jog down. Are you afraid that this class is too tough for you? Don't despair! Remember that you can ALWAYS adjust the pace and intensity as you wish.

The class lasts 45 minutes and we have a total interval time of between 15-22 minutes.

INTERVAL 60

Running is always more fun with others! If you want a good and effective training session, this running session is perfect for you! Here we work on each of our treadmills with an instructor at the front of the room who manages the intervals. The content varies from hour to hour, but will consist of a warm-up part. We then carry out a main part consisting of interval pulls and breaks. Finally, we jog down. Are you afraid that this class is too tough for you? Don't despair! Remember that you can ALWAYS adjust the pace and intensity as you wish.

The class lasts 60 minutes and we have a total interval time of between 20-30 minutes. 

TRI-ERG

Our Concept2 fleet has reached new heights! Rowing machine, stake machine and bicycle are wonderful tools for building an endurance of another world. And that is exactly what we do in these classes. At Tri-Erg, you really get value for the time you put in. Come and experience why this class is among the most popular at many CrossFit centers around the country! Here we combine Rowing, Skiing and Cycling in different intervals of varying duration and intensity. Result: You will become a machine on the machines! In addition, we will work with technique and labor economics on the various devices. 

The class lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for absolutely everyone! 

DANCE

An energetic dance class with some choreography. Suitable for those who have danced a little before or who want a challenge. Become your version of Beyoncé! Suitable for anyone who likes dance lessons full of energy! Here you experience mastery in familiar dance styles and are constantly challenged in new ones.

LATIN RHYTHMS

Suitable for everyone who likes to dance! Hot rhythms, hips that swing, and a big smile. Here there are several dance styles and you are constantly challenged. Dance to inspiring music, with an inspiring group and burn calories without you noticing! In addition to training fitness, you train balance and flexibility.

SHAPE PULSE

Fun good varied class with high energy and super good music. Simple coordination training for heart rate training, then simple strength training with weights, elastic bands and mats. Perfect for those who have just started training, or who want a fun and energetic class without difficult steps.

YOGA

In short, yoga is various exercises, breathing techniques, deep relaxation and meditation that will strengthen body and mind. Strength, flexibility, balance and reduced stress are the main goals of the classes.

There are many varieties of yoga - here are the classes we offer:

Hatha yoga is what is often called classical yoga - and is one of the original main branches. This type of yoga is performed very calmly, and the different positions slide into each other at a slow pace. Therefore, it is suitable for everyone, young and old.

Ashtanga Yoga is among the best-known yoga traditions in the West. It is a dynamic execution of a fixed series. This is breath and movement in unison.

Vinjasa. This is flow-oriented yoga. It is the link between breathing and movement that is central, and here there are no fixed series. The movement is put together from hour to hour.
